Bio
Petro Hrys is a researcher and engineer working independently on digital infrastructure — the search systems, indexing behavior, AI architectures, and automation layers that shape how information is discovered, retrieved, and surfaced on the open web.
Born in Ukraine and currently based between Europe and the United States. The practice is small and self-directed: long-form writing, applied research, and a steady cadence of independent infrastructure work. The interest is in the systems beneath the visible web rather than in products built on top of them.
A small set of independent tools is maintained at their own URLs and listed quietly in the footer. They are useful work in adjacent domains, not the primary work.
