The Transparency Register lists interest representatives who seek to influence EU policy and decision-making. It is operated jointly by the European Parliament, the Council of the European Union and the European Commission under a 2021 interinstitutional agreement, and registrants publish a profile of their lobbying and advocacy activity.

Each recorded value carries its provider and the date it was measured, and describes the domain that was measured rather than one page on it. Open The register’s public pages and its search entry point were retrieved anonymously with no credential and no fee. The result application itself is client-rendered and was not exercised, so nothing is asserted about result formatting, export or any CAPTCHA on that surface.
It is operated jointly by the three main EU institutions rather than by one of them, which is what gives it reach across the institutions.
Registration is backed by conditionality: certain activities in dealings with the institutions are made conditional on being registered, so the incentive to appear is real.
The register can remove an organisation for up to two years where the code of conduct is breached, so entries carry a sanction behind them.
Limitaciones
Entries are self-declared. Registration does not verify that what an organisation says about its activities, funding or clients is accurate.
It is not a permission system: being listed is not approval by any EU institution, and absence does not prove an organisation does no advocacy.
The search runs as a client-rendered application that was not exercised, so its behaviour and any export limits were not observed.

on this page is reproducible from the values shown. Each factor is scored from 0 to 10 by a human reviewer and weighted as shown. The definitions describe what was weighed, not a rubric: no threshold or formula maps a directory onto a value, and two reviewers could reach different numbers. The score is reproducible from the factors shown on every record, but it is an editorial judgement, not a measurement.
