QBCC Licensee Register

QBCC Licensee Register is the state register operated by the Queensland Building and Construction Commission. It records holders of QBCC building and construction licences in Queensland — both individuals and companies, across contractor, builder, trade contractor, nominee supervisor and site supervisor licence classes. A licensee is looked up by name or by licence number — QBCC states "if you have a person's licence number or name, you can look them up in our [licensee register]".

Domain Rating
79Ahrefs snapshot, measured

Domain Rating es una instantánea fechada de Ahrefs sobre la autoridad del dominio. PetroHrys Score is an independent editorial assessment of the directory’s practical business value. They are separate measurements and are never combined. Domain Rating is measured by Ahrefs and read through their public Domain Rating API. Each value carries the date it was read and describes the whole domain that was measured, not the individual page it appears beside. Where several records are published on one measured domain they repeat that domain’s single dated reading rather than each carrying a figure of its own. A record shown as not measured is a record nobody has a reading for, which is not the same as a record measured at zero. Domain Rating is a third-party metric produced by their respective providers, not by PetroHrys.com. Each recorded value carries its provider and the date it was measured, and describes the domain that was measured rather than one page on it. No source has been consulted for authority score, tráfico estimado and dominios de referencia, so they are not published for any record.

Valoración

Puntos fuertes

  • QBCC Licensee Register can be searched free of charge and without an account, directly from the Queensland Building and Construction Commission.
  • The authoritative way to verify that a Queensland building or construction contractor is licensed, for what classes of work, and under what conditions, before contracting.
  • Statutorily mandated in its own right: QBCC Act 1991 s 99(1) — "A register of licensees (the licensee register) must be kept by the commission." The search output is headed "LICENCE SEARCH - COMPANY / Issued Pursuant to Section 99 of the Queensland Building and Construction Commission Act 1991".
  • ASIC registers who is incorporated and who may trade under a business name, nationally.

Limitaciones

  • This is an occupational licensing register, not a company or business register. It does not incorporate, register or number companies — company registration in Australia is federal, through ASIC — and holding a QBCC licence says nothing about a company's registration status.
  • The search interface is a JavaScript (Salesforce Lightning) application, so the search form itself could not be exercised programmatically; the no-login, no-payment finding rests on the register page serving without any sign-in redirect and on a complete licence search certificate being served live and unauthenticated from the same host.
  • Directed lookup only — a name or licence number is needed. There is no public bulk download or browse-all listing of every licensee from this register.
  • The free tier returns index data; extracts, certificates and lodged documents are a separate paid product.

Establishing required submission assets requires submitting a listing and observing the result. That has not been done for any directory in this dataset, so it is not published rather than estimated.

The PetroHrys Score is a first-party editorial assessment, not a third-party authority metric. It is the weighted sum of the ten factors above, divided by ten, so the number on this page is reproducible from the values shown. Each factor is scored from 0 to 10 by a human reviewer and weighted as shown. The definitions describe what was weighed, not a rubric: no threshold or formula maps a directory onto a value, and two reviewers could reach different numbers. The score is reproducible from the factors shown on every record, but it is an editorial judgement, not a measurement.
