Entry is required both to use the title and to carry out reserved design work, so the two effects coincide here — but an entry is still not a statement about the quality of any project.
Architects registered for other activities are on the roll but are NOT entitled to design work and, as the roll states, are not insured for it. Reading any hit as a designer is an error.
The roll is maintained by the regional councils of the Order, so the national interface aggregates regional decisions and the Order directs doubtful cases back to the regional council.
Several adjacent lists exist beside the roll — holders of a récépissé, service providers, fee lists and a special list of architects’ holding companies — and a search of the roll does not cover them.
Absence from the roll does not establish that a person never practised, and it does not exhaust the Order’s lists. Entry can end, the adjacent lists are searched separately, and the Order directs doubtful cases to the regional council.
