It covers England together with reserved authorities in Wales and Northern Ireland, and does not extend to Scotland.

Each recorded value carries its provider and the date it was measured, and describes the domain that was measured rather than one page on it. No source has been consulted for authority score, trafic estimé and domaines référents, so they are not published for any record.

It carries lower-value opportunities that never appear on Find a Tender, which matters most to smaller suppliers.
Award records carry a buyer-supplied company number, which can usually be matched to a registered legal entity.
Notice data is published in the Open Contracting Data Standard for bulk reuse.
Limites
It is a notice database, not a supplier register. Publication establishes nothing about a supplier’s eligibility, standing or trustworthiness.
Its extent does not include Scotland, and in Wales and Northern Ireland it reaches only authorities whose functions are not wholly or mainly devolved. Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland each run their own procurement service.
An award notice records that a contracting authority published a statement that a contract was awarded. It is not independent confirmation that the award happened as described.
Company numbers are entered by the buying authority and are not validated by the service, so a matching error is possible.
