  • A licence record establishes that a licence exists in the Wireless Bureau’s system. It does not establish that the licensee is transmitting, that the licence is unrestricted, or that the holder is an authorised telecommunications carrier — carrier registration sits in a separate FCC system.
  • Absence does not establish that a transmission is unlawful or unauthorised. This system covers Wireless Bureau licensing only, and broadcast, cable, satellite and equipment authorisations are held in separate FCC systems.
