Healthcare Improvement Scotland publishes a searchable directory of the independent healthcare services it regulates in Scotland, covering independent clinics, hospitals, hospices and independent medical agencies. Each service page carries what the service is regulated to provide together with its inspection reports.

Limitations
It covers independent healthcare in Scotland only. Care homes and other social care services in Scotland are registered by the Care Inspectorate instead, and the two must not be confused.
Appearing in the register means the service is registered and subject to inspection. It does not establish that it is currently compliant, safe or well run.
It does not cover NHS Scotland services, which Healthcare Improvement Scotland scrutinises through a different route.
