Introduction
Review platforms differ enormously in what they verify. At one end, an open consumer platform will publish a review from anyone who claims to be a customer. At the other, an enterprise platform will confirm that the reviewer used the product recently before publishing anything at all.
That difference is the single most useful thing to know about a review platform, and it is recorded per directory in this dataset.

Concentrate review collection on one or two platforms your buyers actually read. Spreading requests across five platforms produces five thin profiles. Never filter review invitations to happy customers only: most platforms prohibit it, and it is detectable.

No. It rates directories, not the products listed on them. No AggregateRating or Review structured data is emitted anywhere in this section.
Which platforms verify their reviewers?
Verification rigour is captured in each directory page’s score breakdown under verification quality, and described in its editorial notes. PeerSpot, for example, states it verifies every reviewer as a recent user before publishing.
